The Origin

As far back as the ninth century, monks that had been on a pilgrim to China returned to Japan with tea seeds. Eisai is the Japanese monk that is credited with the creation and establishment of this tradition in the Eastern country of Japan. He wrote a book titled, “how to stay healthy by drinking Tea” in 1214. Monks formed the habit of pressing the tea into cakes and always take it with them whenever they had a reason to travel. They were known to stop by the side of the road from time to time, boil some water and break off a little piece of the cake for tea. Since then, the Japanese have gone ahead to incorporate this healthy beverage as part of their diet and have enjoyed the remarkable health benefits obtained from delicious and healthy matcha.

Organic Matcha Green Tea PowderGreen tea is one of the most popular types of beverages on the market and its origins are set deep within the Japanese and Chinese history. However, one of the best types of tea that comes directly from Asia is definitely Matcha, a type that has managed to impress through its wide range of health benefits and great quality.

The plant is grown during the spring season under the shade of the Camellia Sinensis plant.  A lot of artificial canopies are provided for the plant as it grows; this is done to bring about very soft leaves with an enormously high grade of chlorophyll.

How is it Made?

Matcha is produced from high-quality green tea leaves called Gyokuro. These leaves are shaded from direct sunlight using straw or reeds about two to three weeks before picking. This shading process is what distinguishes this tea from other types of green teas most of which are not shaded before harvesting. The process of shading brings about the production of high-grade Theanine which is responsible for the sweet and mild flavour. After steaming all the leaves, the drying process follows. Afterward, the veins and stems of the leaves are removed and then the leaves are crushed into powder.

Using Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder can help you take complete control over the way you look and with its help you can eliminate impurities and toxins from your skin in a natural manner. The fact that you can use it as a skin toner is a great benefit not to mention it can alleviate your skin without that much of a problem. All you have to do is to try it out and you will be able to see the results very soon right after you start drinking matcha regularly.
